SHRM Western North Carolina is committed to supporting and strengthening the HR community across our region. We recognize that access to professional development and connection can be challenging—especially during times of career transition or for HR professionals working in resource‑limited organizations.

This financial support program is designed to help eligible HR professionals offset the cost of:

SHRM WNC chapter meeting registration, and/or

SHRM WNC chapter membership

Certification expense

Re-certification expense

Registration for SHRM NC State Conference

Our goal is to ensure that all HR professionals—regardless of current financial circumstances—can participate in the learning, networking, and community that SHRM WNC provides.

Support is available to HR professionals who may be:

Between roles or experiencing employment transition

Working in nonprofit, small, or resource‑constrained organizations

Facing short‑term financial barriers to participation

All applications are reviewed with care and confidentiality.

Purpose:

The SHRM Western North Carolina Chapter is committed to supporting and
strengthening the HR community in our region. This financial support program helps HR
professionals who may need financial assistance to cover the cost of attending a
chapter meeting or chapter membership. Our goal is to ensure all HR professionals -
especially those in transition or working in resource-limited organizations - can access
the professional development, community, and resources of SHRM WNC.
